Nicholas James Smith is a computer programmer, musician, writer, and poet from New York City. He has played the guitar since he was seven, and has pursued playing the instrument with different instructors or on his own time since then. He left New York to go to Pitzer College in Southern California, where he studied Psychology and fell more in love with the outdoors. He has been writing songs and stories more or less consistently since returning to New York. He completed a software engineering bootcamp in 2023, and works as a programmer from his home in East Hampton, NY.
